Enquiro Research composed an eye tracking study which has become a common staple for Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing to show the power of positioning on the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages).

This study reveals what Enquiro chose to call the “The Golden Triangle” of consumer eye movement on Google's results page as they scan the results of their queries. The study not only shows that most of the consumers eye movement is restricted to browsing results in the above fold (the upper part of the page before the consumer has to scroll down) but it also disputes the power of Google's Adword PPC Internet Marketing.
